Our client’s brand is the market leader in Australia and New Zealand.
Even if you know just a little about cars you will know their brand name. If you know a lot about cars you will know that their brand is the only one you would want fitted to your car.
You will work directly for and be mentored by a very knowledgeable Regional Manager and will be given your own territory which will cover approximately 2000 workshops. Your role will be to build brand loyalty from the workshop mechanics to ensure they pull your branded product through the resellers, such as Repco, Bursons, Coventry’s etc. There will be some Aftermarket Retail representation but the trade is where the volume is so expect to spend your time in this area.
Whilst most of the time will be on the road the job still has all the clerical administration activities you would expect, but you will have your mobile phone, your laptop and a good CRM system to ensure market intelligence is captured.
Their product is sold on its brand reputation for quality and superior effectiveness, so if you have a sales history of selling on price and claiming that your products match the real thing then stop reading because that approach will not cut it for this role.

To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate that you:
- Are passionate about building your career with a progressive employer
- Can relate well with grass roots individuals and be able to build rapport quickly.
- Have a sales history of successfully selling in a competitive market preferably automotive aftermarket.
- Have an understanding of or a desire to work within the automotive sector.
- Have used a CRM Database to manage your workload.
- Have used your outgoing personality to win new accounts
It would be ideal if you are in an existing role selling for one of the Automotive Aftermarket resellers or you may even be a mechanic that would like to be a salesperson in a field you know.
