Our valued client, a leading supplier of timber products, are seeking to appoint a permanent Forklift Operator.

You will receive an above award rate, heaps of OT, and the opportunity to join a real team environment where people want to work.

Your skills will include long term Forklift Operating experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of safe warehouse practices (including safe lifting techniques) and housekeeping.

You will be enthusiastic, reliable, have a willingness to learn, ability to take directions and an overall positive attitude. A team player will succeed in this role.

The duties of the role include but are not limited to:

Forklift Operation
Despatch
Unloading trucks
Container unloading
Fast and accurate warehousing skills
General warehouse housekeeping
Other duties as directed

Excellent time management and prioritising skills will be of benefit in this busy role.

Your own reliable transport is a must for this opportunity.

Daily O/T is available and this position best suits someone who is able to commit to flexible finish times. The standard hours of the position are 7am to 3.40 pm Mn - Fri. There is occasional Sat work.

The role commences ASAP.
